Cantabrian Mountains, a chain of mountains west of the Pyrenees, in northern Spain. They extend over 300 miles (480 km) along the coast of the Bay of Biscay to Cape Finisterre. Some of the peaks are nearly 9,000 feet (2,700 m) high.
