Delaware Bay, an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean, between Delaware and New Jersey. It is also the estuary of the Delaware River. Delaware Bay is about 50 miles (80 km) long, as much as 30 miles (50 km) wide, and generally less than 60 feet (18 m) deep. The bay is part of the Intracoastal Waterway.
