Holland, Michigan, a city in Ottawa County. Holland is on Lake Macatawa, an arm of Lake Michigan, in a summer resort area. Tulips and baby chicks are raised on nearby farms. Furniture, boats, drugs, automotive parts, and food products are manufactured here. Hope College is in Holland.

Holland was founded in 1847 by Dutch settlers, and most residents are of Dutch descent. During the annual Holland Tulip Time Festival in mid-May, the residents wear Dutch folk costumes. The Netherlands Museum has Dutch folk material.
