Kearny, New Jersey, a town in Hudson County. It is between the Passaic and Hackensack rivers, two miles (3.2 km) north of Newark. Products include chemicals, machinery, and electrical equipment. Kearny, named for Philip Kearny, was incorporated in 1899.
