Kingsville, Texas, the seat of Kleberg County. It is 34 miles (55 km) southwest of Corpus Christi. The surrounding agricultural area raises cotton, livestock, and corn. Crude oil and dairy products are processed in the city. Kingsville is the headquarters of King Ranch, which covers nearly 1,500 square miles (3,900 km2). The city was incorporated in 1911.
