Lompoc, California, a city in Santa Barbara County. Lompoc is located in southern California, about 130 miles (210 km) west-northwest of downtown Los Angeles. Lompoc is a major producer of flower seeds. Vandenberg Air Force Base, 10 miles (16 km) west of the city, provides many jobs. Near the city is a restored 18th-century Franciscan Mission at La Purísima Mission State Historic Park. The Lompoc Valley Flower Festival is held each June.

Lompoc was settled in 1874. It has the council-manager form of government.
