Saratoga Springs, New York, a city in Saratoga County. Saratoga Springs is a resort and cultural center in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains some 30 miles (48 km) north of Albany. Saratoga Spa State Park, site of mineral springs and of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, is within the city. The city is the home of the historic Saratoga race track; the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, devoted to Thoroughbred racing; the National Museum of Dance; and Skidmore College.
Saratoga Springs has been one of the nation's most famous health resorts for more than 100 years. It was incorporated as a village in 1826 and as a city in 1915.
