Wheaton-Glenmont, Maryland, a city in Montgomenr County and a suburb of Washington, D.C. It is an unincorporated city and largely residential. Wheaton Regional Park, with a conservatory, is nearby. Wheaton began as a settlement around an old country tavern in the 1860's and was named for Frank Wheaton, a Union general in the Civil War.
