Xenia, Ohio, the seat of Greene County. It lies in the valley of the Little Miami River, near Dayton, in the southwestern part of the state. Xenia is the trade center for a rich farming area and is also a manufacturing city. Nearby is Wilberforce University. A council and manager govern the city.

Xenia was laid out as a village in 1803, incorporated as a town in 1814, and chartered as a city in 1834. A tornado destroyed nearly half of the city in 1974.
