Lake Memphremagog
Memphremagog, Lake, a lake in Vermont and Quebec. The name comes from an Indian word meaning “beautiful water.” The lake is 30 miles (48 km) long (north-south) and up to 3 miles (5 km) wide. It empties into the Magog River in Quebec.
