White River, a river in Nebraska and South Dakota. It flows 507 miles (816 km) from the vicinity of Harrison, Nebraska, northeast into South Dakota and east across the Badlands. It joins the Missouri River near Chamberlain, South Dakota. The drainage basin of the White River covers about 10,200 square miles (26,400 km2).
